When trying to evolve Feebas into Milotic in Pokemon GO, you can either use 100 Feebas Candies to evolve it, or it says: Walk with you buddy to evolve this Pokemon There is then a progress bar underneath, which you can fill by walking with Feebas as a buddy, and it becomes full once you’ve walked .
If you click on the Feebas you walked, the meter should show full and that should stay recorded. I haven’t tested it myself so IDK for sure, but I’d strongly guess that it’s safe to switch it out. Just make sure you properly mark which one you walked so you don’t accidentally transfer it.

Make 3, 4 and arguably 5, into candy first, and continue walking with whatever you’re walking before feebas for now 🙂 When you accumulate enough dust and still don’t find one better than #1, then walk it.
