You’re up against an adamant Mimikyu with your jolly Mimikyu (okay this is hypothetical, I’m not actually calculating stats). You hit first, do 75% damage. Opponent hits next, does 90% damage. Turn 1.

10/5/2020 · Catch Mimikyu at Bridge Field in Foggy weather: 2: Hatch Eggs until you get a High IV Mimikyu : 3: Breed that Mimikyu until you get one with an Adamant or Jolly Nature: 4: Put 252 EVs in Attack and Speed: 5: Max out its Dynamax Level: 7: Teach it Play Rough, Swords Dance, Shadow Claw, and Shadow Sneak: 8: Equip a Life Orb, Maximum Speed investment along with a Jolly nature allows Mimikyu to outspeed key threats like non-boosted Excadrill and Indeedee. Adamant is also a viable option if one wants to boost the power of Mimikyu ‘s moves in order to hit a little harder at the cost of not being able to outspeed the aforementioned Pokemon.
An Adamant nature helps boost Mimikyu ‘s damage output and claim a number of KOs that a Jolly nature misses out on, such as OHKOing Krookodile with an unboosted Play Rough after Stealth Rock and OHKOing Choice Band Scizor with a +2 Shadow Claw after Stealth Rock and one layer of Spikes.
